CITU has been stocking brown trout at the tailwater since 2000. Below is a history of the amount date, and size of the stockings. Typically, we stock brown trout in early May. We are also looking into the feasibility of a second stocking in the fall. Stay tuned for more information.

Each year the Indiana Department of Natural Resources stocks Rainbow Trout at the tailwater in late April. CITU has assisted with the stocking for several years now. We provide help to spread the fish out along the tailwater. The rainbows do well and many 16-18 inch fish are reported each year.
