On April 23, 2022 at 8:00 AM we will be meeting at the Yellow Bank Trail Head on US 52 just east of Metamora, IN. From there we will disperse to clean the tailwater below the Brookville Reservoir. The cleanup is in conjuction with the Whitewater Canal cleanup. Everyone is welcome to meet back at the Yellow Bank Trail Head for refreshments and food provide by the Whitewater Canal Trail organization. Gloves and bags will be provided. Perpare to get wet.

Due to maintenance activities at the Brookville dam the stocking of trout has been delayed until the Fall of 2022.
CITU started stocking brown trout at the tailwater in 2001. Below is a history of the amount date, and size of the stockings. Since 2007 the brown trout are provided by the Wolf Creek Fish Hatchery and are transported by IDNR to the tailwater for release.

Each year the Indiana Department of Natural Resources stocks Rainbow Trout at the tailwater in late April.
